About Pete

Hello, my name is Pete. The website name heypete came from my niece when she was about 2 years old. She heard my family saying "hey pete" and she thought my name was "hey pete". I started this website to share my projects and have a central place to post photos of the things I have made. I enjoy building and making all types of things. I don't fall into the category of an expert but more of a jack of all trades. I have been involved in building sets and general contracting since I was a child. I took an interest in welding when I was 15 and bought my fist welder. Today I am married with two children and love to make things for our family to enjoy.
